The 21st MACPS meeting will be held as part of Keystone Clash (Holiday Inn in Morgantown, PA), continuing our tradition from last year. While Keystone Clash is primarily an event for aquarium enthusiasts, we will be there to add some plants! We will be tabling there on Friday, September 22, and Saturday, September 23, although most programming will be on Saturday. There will be a talk on carnivorous plant basics (what makes a plant carnivorous, what types are there, basics of cultivation) on Saturday at 10 am. Our auction will be on Saturday at 5 pm. We will also be bringing back our carnivorous plant show! We would love to see you at our scheduled events and participate in our show, and also invite you to help out at our table and sell plants.
We have changed our auction policy such that you MUST be a paid member in order to sell in our auction (as well as at our table for Keystone Clash). Global minimum bids for the auction will also be $5 from now on; if no one bids at $5, the item will be returned to the seller. You also have the option to write a minimum bid that you will accept. Instead of 50% of proceeds going to MACPS, only 20% will now to go MACPS. We hope these revised auction policies encourage you to put your plants up for auction!
