4. Hum & Strum: sing in tune & play in sync. Know your voice and voice range, learn to transpose to your best key, group exercises while you wait for your turn for one-on-one vocal coaching. Weekday morning or lunchtime EDT.
5. Fingerstyle Ukulele: an umbrella term for classes in reading tablature (and/or notation), using individual fingerst to pluck the strings (rather than only strum and use song sheets). Two kinds of classes: progressive & elective. Progressive classes provide the foundation you need for ELECTIVES. Complete beginners can start with Pick & Pluck. If you already know how to play the ukulele, take Tab & Pluck to learn melodic and harmonic fingerpicking. Once you've learned how to use each finger to create the best sound, take Pluck for a little bit of everything. After progressive classes, you can choose electives.

6. Music Theory answers WHY. It makes sense of the music you play and provides the foundation to understand what you do and eventually prepares you for song writing, composition, arrangement, etc. This is the class with least amount of playing but you do need an instrument as music involves both listening and playing. The first two times, music theory was offered for ukulele players. Since then, other instrumentalists have taken it. https://www.anneku.com/2020/11/19/music-theory-for-ukulele/

7. Piano Class: in a small group in Zoom, the class is conducted like a master class where everyone learns the same piece, one at a time, and also gets exercises to improve different skills. One person plays and gets taught but everyone else benefits and learns. https://www.anneku.com/2016/05/26/what-youre-also-learning-when-you-take-a-piano-class/
