My name is Blanca Ruvalcaba, I was part of the 2022-2023 School year Site Council. I’d love to return in an effort to keep supporting our children's academic journey.

I’m currently a Data Analyst for a Healthcare Company. I work from Home which provides the flexibility to support my children in their academics. My hobbies include playing tennis, getting away to Big Bear and enjoying nature, and visiting our beautiful OC beaches and Disneyland with my family.

I am the mother of 5 sensational children. 4 who currently attend Shadow Ridge and 1 who graduated a year early from Shadow Ridge and is currently a college student pursuing a healthcare career.

Children are our future. Our children need a solid foundation in education that will allow them to develop the skills necessary to help them achieve their dreams. To achieve this, Educators, Parents, and students must come together and develop strategic plans, and develop and share ideas that would benefit our Shadow Ridge Family. I don’t believe in one size fits all, however, when a group of diverse backgrounds come together and understand, respect, and learn from each other in efforts to help our children I believe great things can be accomplished.

I’m ready to advocate and be a voice for our students, parents, and teachers. I believe in the power of communication; listening to the concerns of our students, parents, and teachers. In my opinion, Representing Parental Perspectives (RPP) is key to forming a positive and impactful atmosphere.

We are ALL in this together! No shark should be left behind.

Hello, my name is Claudia Cardona. I have been homeschooling my kids I had one who recently graduated from there and one that’s currently enrolled at Shadow Ridge. I’m a parent that works from home but is also involved in their child syndication and believes it is very important so I would like to be part of this that way I could go ahead and help and be involved at the same time in my child’s education and others. My name is Faith Carrington, my husband and I have been married over 17 years, together we have 5 wonderful children, with our youngest 2 currently attending Shadow Ridge. Our middle child graduated from Shadow Ridge a couple of years ago. Our last 3 children came to this program because we live very busy lives, with our Christian beliefs being place before anything secular. Having the independent freedom to maneuver their school schedules, while we have our finger on the pulse of what they are learning is vital to their success as students. This is also why I always make sure to know my kids' teachers, and try to frequently converse with them and get to know them so that I can know exactly who and how someone is teaching my children.  Thank you.
