National Museum of Asian Art-DCPZ Educators' Workshop

Saturday, February 11, 2023
2:00-4:30pm
National Museum of Asian Art,
1050 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20560

How do the acts of participating in conversations about art and engaging in movement benefit students and classroom dynamics? In this participatory session, learn how slow looking and yoga can support classroom learning, social-emotional development, and academic performance. Practice slow looking with a work of art guided by a Project Zero thinking routine. Engage in movements inspired by that work of art.

No prior experience with yoga or meditation is required. Please wear comfortable, well-fitted clothes and shoes for moving around.

If you have any questions, please contact Abby Krolik at pdcprograms@wis.edu.
