2023 EERI Annual Meeting: Financial Need Grant Application
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has generously made funds available to prospective attendees who demonstrate a need for financial support in order to attend the 2023 EERI Annual Meeting taking place in San Francisco, California from April 11-14, 2023. 

These grants are available to cover full or partial registration fees, travel, and hotel stays. Please explain in the form below what type of grant you are in need of.

Deadlines and Award Notification
The priority application deadline for registration grants has passed. If you missed the initial deadline, you can still submit an application to be placed on a waiting list. Should additional funds for registration grants become available, your application will be reviewed.

Applicants who submitted their application by the February 1, 2023 deadline will be notified by Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
Selection Criteria
The selection committee will judge applicants based on the following criteria:
  1. Demonstration of financial need.
  2. Active participation in Reconnaissance Training Workshop and Exercise.
  3. EERI membership and active participation in EERI or in an EERI Student or Regional Chapter (if a local chapter exists).
