PS107 Art Day
SATURDAY, MAY 15, 2021
Online: 10-12
In-person: 1-3

We're thinking outside the box this year to keep Art Day alive!  Fill us in on the workshop you plan on leading, so we can plan the day accordingly.  Please keep in mind:

IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS:
- Workshop leaders located in the park should go stake out an area by noon that day.  There will be a check-in table (location tbd, maybe near school) for all workshop attendees to check in and locate their workshop before it begins (btwn 12:30-12:50p), understanding that we may have park locations to figure out the day of.
- Most workshops will be held in the park, somewhat near to the 15th street entrance.
- Workshops needing running water: may be held in yard front yard / stoop area, (though attendees will not be allowed inside).
- One or two workshops can be run on the sidewalk surrounding the school (such as chalking, fence decorating, etc.)
- Parents of attendees up to 4th grade should be near-by, if not assisting the younger ages (2nd grade and lower).  5th graders are allowed to be unaccompanied, unless your workshop states otherwise!

VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS:
- Supply Kits for attendees will need to be prepared by the previous weekend, May 8th.
- Materials list of what tools/supplies found in their home will be sent out by Monday, May 10th, so students have time to gather supplies they have around their home.  (Only super basics... copy paper, pencil, crayons, scissors, toilet paper tubes, etc. apply to this. Otherwise it will needed in the supply kit prepared by workshop leader.)
- If there are out-of-town attendees, workshop leaders are responsible for kit preparation and mailing, to be shipped by Monday, May 10th via USPS priority.  (Art committee will help with postage costs.)
- For local attendees, we will schedule a supply kit pick-up day/time in front of school mid to late week leading up to Art Day.
- There will be a technical assistant to reach out to during your virtual workshop, if need be.
