Online registration will be open from October 1 to 31, 2022.

All participants (either attending the conference personally or virtually) have to register via this Online Registration Form. Please read the instructions below carefully.

Border Measures in Taiwan & Attendance Policy

Starting from October 13, inbound passengers will no longer have to quarantine upon arriving Taiwan. Arrivals still need to monitor their health for seven days and take rapid antigen tests. Travelers who have a negative result on the rapid antigen test within 48 hours are allowed to leave their accommodation. For the latest information on entry regulations related to COVID-19, please check the website of Taiwan CDC.

Since the conpulsory quanrantine has been lifted, the organizing committee has decided to host the Conference predominantly in-person. However, we understand some participants may have difficulty in attending on-site, including the quarantine policy from their home countries or VISA-related problems. Certain documents may be required for identification in such situations. For participants who wish to join us virtually, please contact the Secretaries of the conference: earcag2022@gmail.com. 
Guideline for Registration Fees
Payment Policy

Registration and full payment of fees will be compulsory for offically attending any of the conference events.

Please note that all onsite participants should pay their registration fees in cash on the first day of the meeting (Dec. 9). We accept both U.S. dollar and NTD for the fees. Credit cards and bank transfer will not be accepted.
Conference Registration Fees Include:
  • A Conference program guide (online manual)
  • A set of delicate Conference souvenirs
  • Admission to all Conference sessions
  • Registration fee payment receipts (Invoices).
  • Official Attendance certificate (by application).
Confirmation

Each participant will receive an email notification confirming the registration and received payment or amount outstanding after the completion of the Online Registration Form. If you don`t receive an automatic confirmation reply within 48 hours, please contact the Secretaries of the conference: earcag2022@gmail.com
Insurance

The registration fee does not include participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.
Visa Application

Please check the website of Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs for visa-related Information. The formal acceptance letter for abstract submission should allow you to apply for your visa. If you require specific documents from us in your application process, please contact the Secretaries of the conference: earcag2022@gmail.com.
Travel Grants for Stutents

The local organizer of EARCAG 2022, Taipei is pleased to offer limited funding (500USD per awardee) to assist graduate students and/or early career postgraduate researchers in attending this conference. The applicant’s abstract must first have been accepted by the conference. Applicants then need to submit a paper to the conference organizer (earcag2022@gmail.com) by November 15. Papers should be brief and concise (approximately 10 pages) to ensure efficient review. Notification on the results of the review will be sent by the end of November. Grants will be awarded in US dollar cash after awardees’ presentations at the conference venue. Please note that due to financial constraints, this travel grant award will be limited to three selected applicants.

This Privacy Policy applies to you when you have submitted your personal data in the registration form or through email as a participant, speaker, moderator, media representative for the purpose to attend an event organised by us.

We collect and process your personal data for several purposes:

1. Registration and attendance

For you to be able to register and attend events organised by us, we process your personal data obtained via Platform for identification and registration purposes. Personal data processing is required for us to take the necessary steps prior to entering into a contract on the attendance of the event and for the performance of contractual relations established between you and us. If you wish, and when provided in the Registration Form, you can inform us on your dietary preferences. We will use this information to accommodate, as far as reasonable, the relevant requests. This personal data processing is based on our interest to maximize the level of participant, speaker and moderator satisfaction and wellbeing.

2. Event photography and video

Please be aware that we may take photographs and video material at our events and we may use these materials on our website (https://sites.google.com/view/earcag2022) and social network profiles (Facebook/Twitter) to enhance awareness of our events. If you are not comfortable with any material published containing your image, you can inform us accordingly and we will refrain from using such image in the future.


For personal data processing which is based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal becomes effective for further personal data processing.

Furthermore, you are entitled to such rights:

  • Right of access: You are entitled to know whether we process your personal data and what personal data we have, as well as you can ask for more specific information about the processing carried out.
  • Right to rectification: We are under an obligation to rectify inaccurate personal data and to complete incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure: We must erase your personal data upon your request and under certain circumstances.
