Project re:Fresh Volunteer Application
Project re:Fresh, offers middle and high school youth in Alameda County a unique opportunity to refresh social muscles and academic skills through projects and trips. (Watch this 2-minute end of year recap video). 

With two after-school programs, in Oakland and Hayward, we hope to offer a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on learning grounded in intentional community.

We seek empathetic volunteers who can connect with our youth and can make curiosity and exploration exciting and important. If this calls to you, we would love for you to join our team!

Example opportunities:

  • Come weekly to work with our youth and collaborate on projects
  • Build relationships as we eat dinner and garden!
  • Work positively and collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Lead Coach

Past Field Trips:

  • Ropes Course
  • Lake Chabot pedalboating
  • Urban Sprouts Garden
  • Movies
  • Bowling
  • 2K Games

Required qualifications:

  • experience working with youth
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
  • Negative TB test results (<4 years)
  • Ability to pass Livescan background check
  • Resume with 2-3 professional references
