Streets of Summer is back for 2022!

Solo performers, duos and small ensembles are encouraged to apply to perform for the 2022 Streets of Summer St. Paul Busking series, a seasonal MMC performance series in partnership with the St. Paul Downtown Alliance + One Simple Plan. These in-person concert events will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from mid-June through September, 2022. Each concert event will feature 1 act, with the performances taking place at a variety of times/locations. Please see times/locations below:

Tuesdays: 12pm-1pm at Landmark Plaza
Wednesdays: 4pm-5pm at 7th Place
Thursdays: 12pm-1pm at Osborn370 Plaza (Power Available)

Applications will be reviewed by MMC staff, and you will be contacted by MMC's booking manager if you are chosen for a performance slot. Artist is required to bring all necessary instruments and equipment. A sound technician will not be provided. Power access is not consistently available, so we're mainly asking artists with no amplification and/or access to battery powered devices to apply. If you do require power for your performance, please include that in your application.

All performance slots are 60 minutes and will be compensated at $125. Additionally, travel reimbursement may be available for artists traveling further than 25 miles for this gig. Artists are able to solicit tips and sell merchandise. MMC, One Simple Plan, and the St. Paul Downtown Alliance are asking that performances remain family friendly, and that artists refrain from swearing and overt religious/political speech during the performance.
