Supporting Iranian Students/Scholars at Risk
Since the beginning of the Woman, Life, Freedom revolution in Iran, at least 718 university students have been arrested by security forces. Many of these students have been expelled from their university, received lengthy prison sentences or other punishments such as academic suspension. At least 35 Iranian faculty members were also expelled from their job, only due to defending their students' rights.
ICOIA aims to create a database to direct these impacted students/scholars to the existing or future funding/ scholarship opportunities.
