Since 2017, our community members have paid to send thirteen entrepreneurs to DC events in Bangkok, Austin, London, and Mexico City.
It’s a tradition before each major event to rally resources and help pay for the trip expenses of deserving members. It’s called ‘the Event Scholarship’ and was started by @Gerbz after he experienced an in-person DC event for himself. (Gerbz and @allenthird are still major donors years later!).
Last year, the scholarship winner was Sofia Grande. Sofia is a college student with two online businesses: Kindle publishing and a clothing ecommerce store.
Sofia applied, wowing the community with her entrepreneurial story, and promptly won. Two months later, she was in Bangkok, meeting hundreds of entrepreneurs.
This year, we’ve opened up a scholarship to the public: We’re sending one lucky entrepreneur to join us at DC Mexico.
DC Mexico will occur May 6-8 in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. It is a members-only event with masterminds, curated speakers, and meaningful connections. There will be over 200 entrepreneurs in attendance, and the businesses they own average $650k in yearly revenue.
The DC Mexico Scholarship Includes:
- 3-Day DC Mexico Ticket
- 3 Months of Access to the Dynamite Circle Community

To qualify for the scholarship, you must:
- Be ready to meet and spend time with other entrepreneurs at the event
- Be qualified to join the DC community (https://dynamitecircle.com/)
- Own a business doing at least $100k in yearly revenue
- Have not yet attended a major DC event
