Shifnal Cricket Club welcomes you and your children to the our club. We hope you enjoy being a club member and enjoy our coaching, training, matches and festivals, as well as our family social events.

We are a Clubmark Accredited club. The club has adopted the ECB Safeguarding policy for Protecting Children “Safe Hands”. A copy of the Club’s Safeguarding Policy Statement is on the club notice board and on our website. Our Safeguarding Officers contact details can also be found on the website and the main notice board too.

Our principle coaching staff are all ECB qualified and are members of the ECB Coaches Association all are up to date with current safeguarding requirements and are first qualified.

Our coaching and age group managers including all senior team captains and umpires all are vetted by the ECB which includes an enhanced DBS check (formally known as CRB check).

Our Code of Conduct for members and guests is posted on our website as well as our Safe Use Nets policy too and we ask you to familiarise yourself with these to ensure all have a great experience

We believe that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents, carers or guardians associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all our members. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with the club Safeguarding Officers
