2021 Mandatory Prom Information and Agreement for Parents and Guardians
Dear Parents/Guardians,

This online resource has been designed to outline the regulations related to proms established by the Archdiocese of San Francisco, the Department of Catholic Schools and Junípero Serra High School. Once you have read and understood the regulations, you will electronically submit your agreement to the terms and conditions.  This agreement must be completed and submitted by Wednesday, April 28 in order for your son to attend the prom.

Below are the details regarding the 2021 Senior Prom:
-Prom will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Courtyard at the San Mateo County Event Center from 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
-The cost of the prom is $160 per couple or $80 for an individual ticket (individual tickets are available for Serra students only). This cost to attend prom includes admission into prom, beverages, music and goodies.
-Parking has been included.
-Students who would like to attend prom must attend the mandatory student meeting on Wednesday, April 21 from 7-7:45pm -- a zoomlink has been sent to students.
-Your TADS account will be charged the first billing statement after the prom on May 15.
-Students will not receive a paper ticket/bid, rather they will be placed on a list for entrance the evening of the event.
-No refunds will be given for a student who is not admitted to the prom or to a student who cancels for any reason once the final numbers have been given to the venue (May 3).
-Serra guests cannot be over the age of 20.
-Prom bids will go on sale April 23-27.
-Students will not be admitted to the prom after 7:30pm unless prior permission from the Dean of Students is granted.
-Students may not leave the prom before 9:00pm. Students must leave by 10:00.
-Students and their belongings will be searched upon entrance to the prom. Students should leave purses and backpacks at home as the school cannot monitor them during the prom - there is not a coat check, therefore students will need to keep their belongings with them at all times. Students bring valuables at their own risk.
