Wilson River Trail FALL Clean Up #2- NWTA Work Party (11/16/2019)
Please join me on Saturday November 16th at 9 AM in the beautiful Tillamook State Forest for a few hours of brush clearing and leaf removal along the Wilson River Trail (Segment A - Elk Creek campground to King's Mountain trail). We'll be tackling Segment A of the Wilson River Trail in multiple stages.  For this second work party we'll hike in approx. 2.5 miles from Elk Creek Campground where we'll turn around and work our way back, covering a mile or so section in the middle of segment A.  Our primary focus will be removing ferns, salal, oregon grape and salmon berry from the edges of the trail, as well as raking the freshly fallen leaves from the trail.  Should be a nice day out in the woods!
