Artistic (Synchronized) Swimming is a fantastic sport that combines swimming, artistry and athleticism. It is perfect for anyone who likes dancing and/or swimming. Come see what the sport is about by attending our try-it class. During the class, participants will learn the basics of artistic swimming including: layouts, somersaults, treading water, oysters, and various propulsion methods. Swimmers will then learn and work on a short routine (series of movements performed to music) that they will perform at the end of the 45 min lesson. Try-It classes are free and open to anyone ages 6-12 who is water safe. All participants will receive a free noseclip at the start of the class. What to bring: Swimsuit, Towel, Goggles (optional), swim cap (optional).
