100 Books Before Graduation Registration
Use this form to register one child or teen for the 100 Books Before Graduation program at Fort Scott Public Library. If you have more children you'd like to register, please fill out the form for each of them.

Program details: The Library offers several literacy reward programs to encourage local kids to read. The 100 Books Before Graduation program is designed for kids & teens in grades 6th - 12th. If you have a younger child, you can sign them up for the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program here:
https://forms.gle/94CMqCv7xKntLT7Z8 or the 500 Books Before Middle School program here: https://forms.gle/h1bLpWn4EABhS7nG6
Each complete reading of a book, including audio books and novels read for school, counts toward your child's goal. The program goal points (with a prize at each point) are: 1, 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, 90, and 100 books.

You may choose to track your child's reading through a paper log sheet (get one at the library), the Reader Zone app (contact us for the code), on regular paper, on a white board, or whatever works for you. Come into the library with your filled-out log (after reading 100 books), email Miss Val at vcyouthlib@gmail.com, or message the library on Facebook with each goal you reach. You may also send a photo of your child or teen holding a printed or handwritten sign showing the milestone and/or a book, for the library to share your child's success on their Facebook page (optional). If you are using Reader Zone to track your child's reading, show your progress to the downstairs clerk (on your phone or printed from the website) if Miss Val is not present when picking up prizes. Otherwise, just show them your paper log or a picture of it.
