The AAU Baton Twirling Judges Application is for those applicants that wish to apply to become a licensed Judge with AAU Baton Twirling.  

Who may apply:
A.  Individuals that currently hold a Judge's License with another Baton Twirling Organization.
A follow-up phone call from one of our National Staff Members will follow the application after which the applicant must:  1.  Apply for the yearly AAU Membership and submit the membership number to the National Baton Board; 2.  Pay a one-time AAU Baton Twirling Judge's Fee of $10 to the National Baton Board (info on how to do this will be emailed to the applicant.)

B.  Individuals who wish to become a registered Judge.
A follow-up phone interview from one of our National Staff Members will follow the application after which the applicant must:  1.  Apply for the yearly AAU Membership and submit the membership number to the National Baton Board; 2.  Pay a one-time AAU Baton Twirling Judge's Fee of $10 to the National Baton Board (info on how to do this will be emailed to the applicant.)

General Requirements:
A.  Judges may no longer be competing as athletes (as a soloist or team member).
B.  Must be at least 21 years of age.
C.  Each year, Judges must complete the yearly judges renewal form that will be sent out in early September so that all information can be checked for accuracy.  
D.  Judges will be expected to review the AAU Baton Twirling Rulebook yearly.  

Notification of Acceptance:
All applicants will be notified by email within one week of their phone call or phone interview with the National Board.  This email will contain the status of your application (accepted or not) and information on how to apply for your AAU Membership Number and how to pay your $10 AAU Baton Twirling Judges Fee.  A copy of your AAU Membership Card must be submitted to the AAU National Board.
