SEAFOOD MARKET ASSISTANT MANAGER
The Seafood Market Manager oversees day to day market operations and seasonal associates. They are responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our customers and for facilitating teamwork among staff, as well as monitoring seafood quality, and retail cleanliness and tidiness. On a daily basis, they will take inventory, keep records, monitor the work of seasonal associates to ensure duties are carried out in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines, and serve customers.
Seafood Market Asst. Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day tactical operations of the market
- Keep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation and other regulatory matters
- Ensure customers have a welcoming and satisfying visit
- Monitor seafood and food production for quality
- Track inventory
- Provide guidance to ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed
