Registration for those participating in the 2-session virtual workshop to be held on Saturday, May 8 and Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Attendance at both sessions is required. Registration closes on Friday, April 30.  Shortly after your registration is processed, you will receive workshop materials for the first session.

The Clemson Area Pledge to End Racism (CAPER) is a multi-faith initiative and the pledge is a personal commitment to work on ourselves and to work with others throughout the Greater Clemson area to address racism in all its forms. We invite all to join us who would like to connect with others to reflect, learn, and practice how to develop and maintain this commitment to end racism.
 
We are offering a 2-day, 6 module workshop that covers the following and more: implicit bias, micro-aggressions, institutional and structural racism, the Movement for Black Lives, history of racism in SC, making meaningful personal commitments.  This engaging and thought provoking workshop uses readings, video content, exercises and small group discussion to achieve the workshop learning objectives.

We regret that closed captioning will not be offered for this workshop.

Payment:
A suggested contribution of $30 per person includes participation in the entire 2-Saturday series, payable by check to University Lutheran Church or by credit card through Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.  Check payments should be mailed to University Lutheran Church, Attn: CAPER, 111 Sloan Street, Clemson, SC 29631.
