2023-2024 OU Club Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in the OU Club of Collin County academic scholarship.

Each year scholarships are awarded to deserving students going to OU from the area (Collin or Denton Counties). The OU Club awards this scholarship based on the student’s academic performance, extracurricular activities, leadership activities, articulation of goals and plans, as well as financial need.

This scholarship is awarded through the OU Foundation Funds (OU Alumni Clubs) and is paid directly into the student’s bursar account. If scholarship funds remain after the bursar’s account has been paid in full, the Office of the Bursar processes a check directly to the student. Funding is disbursed into the student’s Bursar account the first week of school.

OU CLUB SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

For your application to be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must plan on attending OU in the fall of 2023.
  • Your home residence must be in Collin or Denton County.
  • Your application must be completed in its entirety.
  • Your transcript must be received by the due date.
  • Your video must follow all the requirements set in the Video Application Instructions.
  • You must be able to participate in the interview
  • Winners must attend Sooner Send-off

Only fully completed applications, that follow all instructions, and are turned in by the deadline will be considered. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. 

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Send your most recent official and/or certified transcript to:

    Or have your school email access to your official and/or certified transcript to:
    OUClubofCollinCounty@gmail.com

  2. Using the Video Application Instructions provided create an application video and upload it to YouTube.

  3. Fill out this application completely. (Your video should be complete before you start this step.)

  4. Applications must be received by midnight on Saturday, March 11, 2023. 

  5. Interviews for select top candidates will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
