We Are AAPI: Community Conversations
Join us for a series of small group discussions to build bridges and cultivate a better understanding of the issues at stake in this year’s elections. Together, we can wield civic power for change in 2020 and beyond.

Our first conversation is with Crystal Clarke, Ph.D., the Director of the Project for the Advancement of our Common Humanity (PACH), a think-and-do tank based at New York University that draws from the science of human connection in order to create a more just and humane world. Her work involves research, curriculum development, community interventions and training that tackle our most pressing societal problems. She is also a Director and Instructor of The Listening Project, which trains middle school students and their teachers in a semi-structured method of interviewing.

Crystal will run us through a transformative interviewing exercise to humanize our view of each other and help us better understand how racial injustice takes a toll on our community. This conversation is open to ALL AAPIs and allies.

Please RSVP by Tuesday, June 30, 8pm EST. The Zoom link will be sent to all attendees prior to the conversation.
