ESTIMATING THE EFFECTS OF COVID-19 OUTBREAK ON MENTAL HEALTH
The following questionnaires are an initiative of the collaboration of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece with the World Psychiatric Association and they assess various aspects of the general mental function, the needs and the behaviors that could occur among college and university students during the COVID-19 outbreak, as a result of either the outbreak itself, either the measures adopted in order to control it.
For your participation in this study, no registration of any identification data is needed, so that we can ensure your answers are sincere and unconstrained, if possible.

By participating in this study, you contribute to the improvement of our knowledge regarding mental health, especially during periods of crises and mass disasters and threats. One advantage of your participation could be the fact that you will reply in a systematic way to questions about yourself, which could increase your self-awareness. However, take note that no results or evaluation of any kind will be given to you at the end.
The questionnaire is long and it is possible that you find it tiring, but a detailed record of the various aspects of the problem is the only way to answer the mental health issues that could probably be of great significance in the near future.

There are no risks regarding your participation in this study. However, it requires much more of your time compared to usual questionnaires, as the questions are many and they cover several different, but equally important, aspects of human behavior.

All of the data that we get from you in this questionnaire are anonymous and strictly confidential in any case. For the scientific analysis, the data will be processed without your name (which you are not required to provide to us at any stage of the study). The documents will be distributed strictly and solely to the members of the research team and these researchers are the only people authorized to examine them. The protection of your privacy is our duty.

In case you have any questions or concerns, now or later, regarding your participation in this study, the conduction of the study, the risks or your rights, please contact Professor Konstantinos Fountoulakis via e-mail to fountoul@auth.gr (3rd Department of Psychiatry, University Hospital AHEPA hospital, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece).
