Welcome to the Suzuki Association of Georgia (SAGA). We are dedicated to sharing the teachings of Dr. Shin'ichi Suzuki, founder of the Suzuki Method.

SAGA excited to present our first online teacher seminar. To help us start the New Year, David Strom will take us through some steps of how to prevent and recover from teacher burnout.

Teacher burnout is something that is widely experienced, but rarely openly acknowledged. Teachers often put tremendous pressure on themselves to be relentlessly positive, which can sadly result in burying valid emotions and inhibiting authentic relationships with students and colleagues. Through experiential exercises, collaborative discussion, and didactic presentations, this talk aims to mindfully explore teacher burnout from a holistic and dialectical perspective.

When: Sunday, January 9th from 7:00-8:00 PM EST

Who is invited: Music teachers--especially those using the Suzuki Philosophy.
