Graduate Student Congress - Research Awards
  Awards are contingent upon the availability of funds and the number of applications received. As of the 2022-2023 fiscal/academic year, the GSC will award up to a maximum of $500 per applicant, even though the cost of conducting the research may exceed that amount.

Please provide a brief statement of financial need and the efforts you have made to secure funding from other sources. Successful applicants will address why they are applying for this award, challenges they are facing (related to family, work, campus, or community), and how they would benefit from being awarded funding. Successful applicants will also show that they are actively trying to get funding from as many sources as they can. The focus is on the applicant's effort to obtain funding, regardless of whether the funding is later received.
