LENGTH OF PROGRAM
Students grade 7-12 who register for online learning through Crossett's Virtual School must make a semester long commitment.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Students must apply to enroll in Crossett School District's Virtual School.  To ensure that students are successful in the virtual program and remain on-track to graduate or advance to the next grade, applications will be reviewed to determine whether virtual is the best learning environment for students interested in the online school option.

Entrance criteria will include success as an onsite or virtual student in 21-22.  Criteria that will be reviewed includes attendance, grades, completion of work and onsite attendance for state mandated tests.  Additional data points will be used to assess students for online learning.

Remote students are required to come onsite to the school where they are enrolled to take NWEA (formative assessments 3 times year) and state mandated assessments (ACT Aspire, DLM, ELPA21, ACT).

Students who did not participate in NWEA and/or state mandated assessments in the previous year (2021-2022) will not be eligible for remote learning.

Applications will be accepted May 16 - June 16, 2022.  Only 50 spots are available.  Qualifying students will be selected in order of timestamp and date on the application.
