As PCNs work to deliver services in a different way, practices have requested investment in smart medical equipment for each PCN in order to develop this capability.  

A smart medical devices links outputs from key medical equipment into your clinical system to enable delivery of data back into the medical record for patients seen across the PCN services.

The aim of this survey is to gather the current status of smart medical devices at each practice.  Based on the findings the CCG will then look to provide each PCN with one smart ECG, one Spirometry device and one BP machine.
