Non-heritage Language Class Tuition Rate (adults and kids): $200 for spring 2023.
BCS Membership Fee: $30/single child; $40/family (per academic year; those who paid this fee in fall 2022 don’t need to pay again for the next semester).
Textbook Cost: $50 (those who paid this fee in fall 2022 don’t need to pay again this semester)

We have caring and enthusiastic teachers to provide Chinese language classes to two age groups
(5-7 years old and 8-10 years old). In spring 2023, each student has an in-person group session
for 1 hour and a one-on-one online meeting for 15 minutes with the teacher every week for a total
of 12 weeks. We use age-appropriate textbooks to help children and their parents who are not
native or heritage Chinese speakers. For children not falling within the two age groups, please
contact us at yanan@blacksburgchineseschool.org, and we are willing to help you on a case-by-
case basis.
Please register by January 6, 2023. You will receive a confirmation email regarding the class
schedule and another email about how to pay the tuition. To be offered, every class needs to have
at least two students. Otherwise, the class will be canceled. Feel free to contact us at
