VAT Registration Request
VAT Registration can be either mandatory (if your Georgian VATable income exceeds 100k GEL in a 12 month period) or voluntary (if registering will allow you to claim back certain expenses). In many cases it can be a very beneficial choice.

But, because VAT registration can be difficult to revoke (impossible in the first 12 months), we require you submit confirmation that you understand the associated conditions with becoming registered. Please select YES on all 3 disclaimers below to show you are happy to proceed. ExpatHub takes no responsibility for your decision to become VAT registered.

If at any time you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your adviser directly, or to our team at info@expathub.ge or on the phone at +995 5111 39929.

Thank you!

Required
I am aware that if all my income is sourced from outside Georgia, I will most likely not get "qualified VAT status". *
With only income from outside Georgia, you will likely be awarded "unqualified status" which will allow you to claim back 18% reverse-VAT on all VATable international service purchases but will not allow you to claim back local VAT on Georgia purchases. "Qualified status" is typically only awarded to companies that generate income from within Georgia and hence charge VAT on their products and services.
Required
I am aware that for any and all products and services I sell to Georgian businesses and customers I will have to charge 18% VAT. *
B2B and digitally rendered B2C sales to foreign customers are typically not VATable and will not require you to charge 18% VAT. BUT, if selling to customers and businesses within Georgia, or making any VATable international sales, those transactions require you to collect, declare and pay the 18% VAT.
Required
Georgian Bank Account *
Please provide details of your Georgian bank account. This is a request from Revenue Service Office for all VAT payers. For an IE, indicating personal bank account is acceptable.
 RS Portal Access *
To complete your VAT registration, we need to have access to your RS portal. If our accounting team doesn't already have access, there are two ways you can give it us. We can add users by ourselves. To do so, you should send your RS portal login and password. Once we add the users, you can change the password. If you prefer not to share your password with us, we will need to schedule a 15-minute Zoom call where we can access your portal together and give you detailed instructions on how to add users. Please indicate preferable option.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
