We are a small adults only discord community dedicated to fannish discussion about the Spider-Man universe with a focus on appreciating Spider-Man x Doctor Octopus.

Friendship, romantic, familial, antagonistic — all is welcome and appreciated as well as love of all things Doc Ock and Spider-Man.

We also appreciate love for Peter and Otto individually, in other ships, or just an appreciation of the Spider-Man universe. We also accept sister ships, selfshipping, ships with original characters, and self-insert shipping.

This community was formed as a reaction to sudden interest following the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home but we accept discussion and content about all forms of Spider-Man media. This includes the live-action films, any of the comics, any of the animations, or any games.

We seek to be an inclusive and accessible community to all fans of the ship. We are an inclusive and radically accepting community. We accept all queer identities and neurodivergent individuals.

We accept "Not Safe for Work" and dead dove content. These are in channels that one must opt-in to access separately. This includes content related to Peter 1 in appropriate channels. One may freely engage in the server without opting-in to any content they are uncomfortable with.

You might be thinking, "Geez, this is awfully formal, isn't it?"

When this form asks for accounts, the bog-standard personal Tumblr account with a smattering of Spider-Man content is 100% acceptable. I'm not asking for multiple accounts because you need to supply them; I'm giving you options. Please don't feel like you need to submit any information you're not comfortable with submitting.

We're not that serious. We don't require a minimum amount of activity, and we allow lurkers and shy folks. We're pretty laid-back, promise.

What Information You Need to Provide

With the goal of accessibility in mind, we require limited information for access to the "Safe for Work" areas of the server. We require simply a name, an age or age range (such as identifying as "30+" or "over 30"), and a form of online account to verify that you are a trustworthy individual. Once you join you may identify pronouns you wish to be referred to with.

Due to fannish discourse and bad actors who troll and flame fannish communities, we need to be able to verify that you are at minimum a person interested in fannish materials and that you do not engage in fannish harassment.

Summary of Rules:

You will need to verify you have read the full rules when you join the server, but these are to give you an idea of the community. By submitting this form, you are verifying that you have read and understand the rules below.

We do NOT allow:

⇨ Anyone under 18 NO EXCEPTIONS. If you apply and we find that you are under 18, you will not only be banned, you will be permanently banned.
⇨ Because we cannot guarantee a minor won't pass initial verification, all new members are given a role that prevents them from accepting any roles that allow them to see any NSFW content.

⇨　Political discussion/discourse.

⇨　Bigotry of all kinds including queer exclusionism, ableism, and fatphobia unless in a fictional setting.

⇨　Any discourse relating to discussion of real-life dead dove topics is not allowed in this server. Discussions about MAP/NOMAP; consangs; etc. are NOT to occur here. Bring it to DMs if necessary.

⇨　Drama-mongering behavior both inside and outside the server. It is fine to defend yourself, but any fannish harassment you are orchestrating that goes beyond defending yourself is not allowed.

We accept tumblr blogs, livejournals and dreamwidths, twitter accounts, carrds, AO3 accounts, and anything along these lines. We do NOT accept accounts linked with your real name UNLESS you publish fannish materials under this name.

You do NOT need to be a creator of fannish content to be accepted, you simply need to show that you are interested and engaged with fandom, which is why we allow bookmark pages. If you don't see a website above that you'd like to use for verification, feel free to submit it. Do note, we do not accept links that have been truncated or otherwise disguised.

Submitting multiple accounts or pages, especially if they contain content to the Marvel or Spider-Man fandom, is greatly appreciated and will help us feel more comfortable accepting you into our community.

We will not post nor leak the accounts you submit for verification in the community. You may disclose these accounts when you make your introduction to the community, but this is not required.
