SignUp -- STEM on the Sidelines Mini Football Launcher LA Chargers
Participating high school teams will be given a tech sandbox (i.e. kit) to build a mini football launcher using various elements such as Raspberry pi, motors, 3D printing, and more. Teams will compete against each other on a Sunday December 8, 2019 at Dignity Sports Park (home of Chargers).  Top 2 teams will be honored and recognized at the LA Chargers home game - free game tickets provided.  

OVERVIEW: Each team of 4-6 students will design, build, and program a device that will launch as many mini footballs into multiple targets within a specific time window. A short video will also be submitted covering the making of the device and the applied scientific and engineering principles. Winners will be awarded based on a combined score of performance and the video.
