The Jack Kidwell Award is given each year to someone within the Ohio GCSA community who has displayed exemplary leadership throughout their career. The award is named in honor of Jack Kidwell, an individual whose contributions to the game of golf in Ohio are abundant.
Kidwell served as a Class A golf course superintendent and PGA professional for nearly 30 years and then went on to design more than 100 golf courses, primarily within the midwest.
The Jack Kidwell Award is the highest owner bestowed upon an individual within the Ohio GCSA. Superintendents, professors, affiliates, and any individual related to the industry are eligible for nomination.
