A survey: addressing survivors & safety in the arts community
Hi! My name is Daysha. I'm a journalist and an artist. I'm also a survivor of sexual violence*, much of which I experienced in the Toronto arts scene by people who still operate in our community today.

The responses to this survey will be anonymous and will be published in a two-piece series I'm writing for ArtsUnite, a service that connects artists and creatives to the resources they need while empowering, educating and employing.

The first piece details my experiences as a survivor in Toronto's small arts scene, which will be analysed to propose ways that we can work together as a community to keep women and femme-presenting folks safer at the events we host and participate in.

I'm hoping this work can be a call in for our community, as well as a resource. Thank you for contributing. Please share widely :)

>I've included some resources for those who may need support.<
