What is FREEThink?
FREEThink is a public service initiative run on behalf of AAF Sacramento, the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation. Our programs are focused on helping local nonprofits tackle their marketing challenges.

Up to three (3) Nonprofit Applicants are eligible to participate each year. Each nonprofit receives:

1. Create-a-thon Event: Teams of talented advertising/marketing professionals tackle your marketing challenges in one design-a-thon weekend.

2. Volunteer Hours: Cross-promotion of events to secure (40) hours of volunteer time from SAC members.


BIG FREEThink Media Award Winner - One lucky nonprofit will receive the FREEThink Media Award:

1. Video/Commercial: Creative ideation and production of a 30-second motion graphic commercial or :15s radio spot content piece to be deployed in 2023

2. Media Exposure: In-kind media placements and sponsorships from Sacramento based media companies; typically over $10K in in-kind advertising has been donated by our sponsors.

Applications are reviewed by AAF Sacramento's FREEThink Committee members and approved by the acting Board of Directors.
