Where Have All the Teachers Gone? What Can DKG Do about It?), the Editorial Board is seeking help from state organization leaders, chapter presidents, and members in general as we assess teacher shortages across the Society and consider
what is being done and
could be done to
support, mentor, and recruit teachers. Support for
Early-career
Educators projects are certainly important, but other groups - veteran, preservice, and even prospective teachers - may also benefit from our efforts and expertise.
The goal of this survey and the subsequent article is to collect and share best practices and innovative ideas that can be replicated or adapted by others within DKG and across the education profession. To that end, the survey includes sections on Best Practices as well as Potential Practices. If you have nothing to share in a category, select NONE and then move to the next section.
