Murder, She Told - Research Help
Hello!

This is Kristen from Murder, She Told podcast and I'm looking for a few people to join our very small team to help out with research tasks! This is an ongoing position— looking for an average of 10 hours a week (we're flexible with your schedule if anything comes up!). Paid a stipend per assignment.

Research is a very rewarding process, but at times a very tedious one. You might be a good fit if you have a strong attention to detail, enjoy processing data and working with excel and word, and/or are open to learning.

You will be working directly with us to help accomplish necessary tasks behind the scenes. I'm looking for people who are excited to work on the show and will take their work on it seriously, who are very familiar and passionate about true crime, who are willing to learn with a good attitude, people who might be looking to grow with us long term, and people who want to be a part of something trying to make a difference.

We work with our team on a weekly basis (one on one meetings, on average 60 min) and will teach you everything.

Research might include searching for and clipping articles in a newspaper archive, searching for online articles, doing OCR (optical character recognition aka transcription) on pdf clippings, creating an index of sources in excel, organizing research into a searchable document, or creating a timeline and processing research into notes that will eventually be turned into a script you hear on the show!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at hello@murdershetold.com.

I'm super excited to chat with you! Thank you for your interest.
Kristen
