Any North Point students in Jr High (Grade 7, 8, 9) or Sr High (10, 11, 12) who are interested in joining the North Point badminton team are asked to fill in their details below.
Players will be introduced to the basics / refine their skills as they learn the rules and basic strategies in singles and doubles play.
Practice details:
LOCATION: Hounsfield Heights | Briar Hill (HH | BH) Community Gym (
1928 14 Ave NW, Calgary)
DAYS: Mondays; Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
TIME: 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
TRANSPORTATION:
- Athletes will be driven from campus to each practice
- Parents are expected to pick up from (HH | BH) at the end of each session.
TeamSnap:
North Point badminton players will be added to a Team Snap roster. This will help keep players and families informed of all practices scheduled and any updates made.
CISAA Championship / inter school competition:
Beyond practice sessions, we will be looking at setting up some afterschool tournament opportunities. This will provide some on court experience and extend the fun! There are also limited spots for the main CISAA championship event in mid April.
