EXPECTATIONS
In order to succeed in research, you need to be able to dedicate significant time to it. Please remember that student research projects usually require 10-20 hours of time commitment per week. As part of their work, researchers are also expected to provide weekly project updates, demos, docs, and a final summary of their work. Interested undergraduate and Masters students are encouraged to apply for independent study (e.g., CSE 498/499).

With that said, given the right motivation, effort, and guidance, research can be an incredibly rewarding activity!
Do you understand the expectations above?
