Please fill out this form entirely if your student would like to enroll in private lessons through Huntsville ISD. Lesson instructors will contact you directly to a schedule a weekly recurring lesson time.
Lessons are 30 minutes long, once per week during the semesters and will cost $20 per lesson. Money will be paid weekly directly to the lessons instructor, NOT TO THE BAND DIRECTORS.
Private lessons help your student perfect their music for All-Region auditions, Solo and Ensemble Competitions, and develop advanced skills, as well improve in areas of need. Private Lessons are extremely important in developing your student's individual musical skills, and every student can benefit from them.
Enrollment in the Huntsville Band Private Lesson Program is a FULL YEAR commitment. Much like working out or eating healthy, consistency improves the benefits! Students should set aside regular practice time throughout the week.
Needs-based financial aid to cover part of the cost of lessons is available on a limited basis. Please fill out the separate Private Lesson Scholarship form to be considered.
