Overview: Explore new instructional strategies for your 6-8 classroom! Using resources from the Early Encounters: 1492-1734 unit of Women & the American Story, the New-York Historical Society’s free online curriculum guide, teachers will explore life and trade in Dutch New York. The session will explore strategies for ELL student writing opportunities.  

Participants must complete the full two hours of the session in order to receive CTLE hours. This also includes active participation during breakout/group sessions if any.
