Call for Proposals
Behind the Whistle is now accepting proposals for concurrent workshop sessions for our 2020 event. This year’s theme, SCHE^3MA is dedicated to the development of policy and programming focused on Social, Cultural, Holistic, Educational, Emotional, Ethnic, Mental, and Academic empowerment of people in the P-16 pipeline. Leaders across various domains are invited to participate in the solution-building symposium being held on July 17-18, 2020 at the Education Service Center, Region 20 in San Antonio, Texas.

Submissions on symposium foci showcasing research, best practices, and innovative programs from all professionals working to support and develop educators, administrators, parents, interscholastic coaches and athletes are encouraged. When considering possible sessions and presentations, please keep in mind that the focus should be placed on interscholastic athletics and education. Session length should be no longer than 15 minutes and accommodate for questions and networking upon completion.

The submission deadline is March 20, 2020. Following that date, each proposal will be reviewed; both selected and non-selected proposals will be contacted no later than April 17, 2020. All presenters must register for the symposium and are responsible for travel and related accommodations. Any questions regarding the submissions forms or the symposium can be directed to behindwhistle@gmail.com.
