Who was Todd D. Arnold?
Todd Arnold was a young real estate professional when he joined BOMA in 1993.  Todd was Vice President with Follman Properties, and it didn’t take him long to make his presence felt among BOMA members . . . he was elected to the Board of Directors in May 1993 to replace a resigning director.

As a board member, Todd continued to make a difference.  He chaired the 3rd annual golf tournament in August 1994 and moved the tournament from its original location to the one we know today – Whitmoor Country Club.  In making the move, Todd paved the way for BOMA’s new, budding annual event to become the premier industry event it is today.

Todd continued on BOMA’s board and was selected by the Executive Committee to become Treasurer in 1996.  Unfortunately, Todd was not able to fulfill his term due to his sudden and tragic death on January 9, 1996.  Todd suffered a heart attack, leaving his wife, Patti, and three children.

Those who knew Todd will not, and do not, easily forget his easy-going nature, humorous disposition and his genuine concern for others.  Nor do we forget his energy, drive and commitment to making BOMA St. Louis stronger and better for its members each and every year.

Following his death, the BOMA St. Louis Board of Directors created the Todd D. Arnold Award not only as a gesture to remember Todd, but to recognize a BOMA Member who may have had an outstanding year within the Association and shown tremendous energy, drive and commitment to making BOMA St. Louis stronger and better.
