Do you have a chronic health condition that affects your everyday life? Then Healthy U is for YOU!

Union County Neighbor to Neighbor, through funding from COAAA is please to bring Healthy U to Union County. Healthy U is a free, six-session self-management workshop that has been proven to help people manage their symptoms better every day. If you have a condition such as diabetes, arthritis, asthma, heart disease, chronic pain, or other chronic conditions, you know the challenges.

During the series of six 2.5-hour sessions, participants learn to:

Communicate with your doctor and family members about your condition
Be more physically active
Eat better
Deal with negative emotions
Set achievable goals

Attendance is required at all six sessions. Registration for Healthy U workshops is required. We will be offering 2 different workshops in 2019:

Workshop 1:
Date and Time: Begins August 1st and goes through Sept. 5th, 1:00pm-3:30pm every Thursday afternoon for 6 weeks.
Location: Windsor and Community Senior Center

Workshop 2:
Date and Time: Begins October 17th-November 21st. 1:00pm-3:30pm every Thursday afternoon for 6 weeks.
Location: Memorial Hospital, Conrad Room
