Thank you for your interest in my very literal "pet project!" 

In this series, I'm photographing pets and their humans to showcase the surprising and captivating creatures our neighbors have inside their front doors, and to share the story of how they met and bonded. 

I'm interested in the understated moments that shape the companionship. I enter each shoot with the goal of photographing the relationship from both the animal and human perspective.

Through these photographs I want to show how the unlikely relationship shapes empathy and understanding with creatures who are uniquely different from us and fascinating to attempt to understand.

Answering the questions in this form will help me 1) learn more about you and your pet, 2) make sure I don't duplicate animals or animal types (reptile, mammal, insect, aquatic, etc.) and 3) pick animals and owners who I believe have a pet story that I can tell in pictures and that the world should know about.

Note: All photoshoots will take place on the pet owner's property.

**Another note: My goal is to pitch this completed photo essay to BmoreArt magazine and/or another publication. So I'd need you and anyone else who wishes to participate (kids, partners, extended family) to sign a model release. See final question on this form.

I mean....describe "friendly." They'll tolerate you. To be safe I'd say no sudden movements (i.e. I'll need to keep you safe)
