The garden season is 5 months from May to Sept. You must have an AACL membership and
volunteer 4 hours/month OR pay $20/month. You get $5 credit for every hour volunteered making the season cost between $0-80.
You are expected to respond to communications, attend some garden meetings, keep your weeds under control, clean up your plot at the end of the season, and do some volunteer hours. If you do not do these things, then then you may not be allowed to return the following season.
Volunteers hours can be completed doing garden maintenance, working on special projects, or helping at garden or league events.
Garden plots must be planted by May 31. If your plot is not planted by May 31, you risk forfeiting your plot to be planted as a community plot.
Gardeners must follow all garden guidelines (full guidelines will be email and then reviewed at the garden orientation).
