1. The Holy City Holiday Market is open to the public. The event will be advertised as open from 12:00-5:00pm.
2. The event is managed by The Event Cooperative.
3. Paper applications will not be not accepted. Please submit your application online by completing this form.
4. This application is mindfully curated to offer attendees a specialized shopping experience. Medical practices, corporate brands and third party sales or service vendors like LulaRoe, Avon and Tupperware (Sorry, Mom) are discouraged from applying.
5. We are actively seeking participation from farmers, growers, prepared and other specialty food producers.
6. This is a rain or shine outdoor event. All vendor booths are located outdoors. There is limited access to power available on the grounds. Vendors are encouraged to bring battery or solar operated lights for their tents if needed. Please indicate on your application if you are requesting power.
7. All events are scheduled rain or shine, but in the case of hazardous weather, the event would be cancelled by 8:00am on the day-of and any paid vending fees on file would forward to the next available event date.
8. Vendors who provide a cancellation notice within 48 hours of a confirmed event date, will forfeit 100% of their vending fee on file. The remainder of that vending fee will forward to the next available date on the calendar.
9. No-call no-show vendors, who do not report in for the day of their scheduled event, will automatically forfeit any vending fees paid and their eligibility to participate in future events. In case of an emergency or unforeseen event (i.e. traffic), please call as soon as you know you will be late so arrangements can be made to reserve your space.
10. The provided vending area is a 10x10 outdoor space per vendor. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tent, table and chairs to fit within their reserved area. The venue is on the marsh and it can get windy. Vendors are required to bring reliable tent weights. We recommend a double set of weights (sandbags and floor weights) for each tent leg.
11. It is recommended for all in attendance to practice safe sanitary habits. Stay home if you are feeling ill.
12. Vendors are advised to have hand sanitizer available at their stations for personal use.
13. No smoking is allowed in the vending area out of respect for shoppers and fellow vendors.
14. No outside equipment rentals or deliveries will be welcomed during the event or setup without prior consent from the event organizer. Vendors must inquire with the event manager for details. Outside rentals will be turned away during setup if not confirmed by the vendor.
15. Vendors arriving later than 10:30AM may forfeit their space for the day. No vending fees will be refunded.
16. Breakdown must occur at 5:00PM, not earlier.
17. Vendors are required to remove all trash from their booth following breakdown. Please leave the space as you found it.
18. Vendors are responsible for their vending space and will be billed for the value of repairing any damages caused to their assigned area.
19. Vendors are responsible for resolving their own disputes with customers. Abusive, profane, threatening or harassing language or harmful actions towards anyone will not be tolerated. All responsible individuals will be asked to leave immediately.
20. Possession of firearms, fireworks, gambling, use of drugs, or disorderly conduct by a vendor or his/her employees will also result in the individual being asked to leave.
21. Vendors may offer samples immediately in front of their assigned space, if following DHEC guidelines for COVID safe foodservice. Venturing beyond this assigned area to draw customers to your booth is not permitted and considered hawking.
22. Vendors who violate any of these event guidelines will no longer be eligible to participate in the event series.
23. The Event Manager has the right to remove any vendor, employee or customer from the event at anytime for any reason.
24. By completing this application, all vendors are agreeing to hold the The Holy City Holiday Market, The Event Cooperative and their affiliates harmless. Vendors are not insured by this event. All vendors are responsible for relying on their own product, professional and personal insurances when participating in this event.
