Trini Partner Studio Application
The Trini Foundation offers monthly tuition assistance to individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction through our scholarship program. We partner with traditional Ashtanga programs in an effort to expand access to the life changing practice of Ashtanga yoga. Scholarships are awarded based on student financial need with final approval and acceptance of the scholarship at the partner studio’s discretion.

Becoming a partner studio means more than just teaching scholarship students in your classes. We greatly appreciate your participation in Trini Foundation’s occasional fundraising events in order to help us continue to raise awareness and fund the scholarship program.

By completing the application below, the foundation is able to pay funds directly to your studio for the scholarship recipient’s pass.

Partnership Guidelines:
• Ashtanga program, including Mysore and led classes, taught in the tradition of Sharath Yoga Centre/KPJAY Shala
• Individual willing to communicate with scholarship students and Trini Foundation regarding recipient’s attendance
• Willingness to negotiate a discount for the scholarship student’s pass (discount amount at the studio’s discretion)
• Participation in the National Recovery Month fundraising event each September and/or offer an ongoing donation class benefiting the Trini Foundation
• If desired, information on the Trini Foundation may be included on website and social media marketing. Trini will provide access to Dropbox with marketing materials.

Why are you interested in offering Trini Foundation scholarships at your studio? *
Describe your Ashtanga program, schedule (provide link), and approximate number of students. *
For teachers working directly with scholarship students, list teaching credentials including, but not limited to, KPJAYI study, authorization, or certification. *
For studios with non-authorized teachers, describe the teacher's personal Ashtanga practice history, current practice schedule, and authorized/certified teachers with whom you have studied.
Are you willing to negotiate a discount for the scholarship student’s pass? The discount amount is at the studio’s discretion and we understand this is a deeply personal choice. If you are able to provide a small discount, please state amount below.
Are you interested in teaching classes in local treatment facilities? This is not required to be a partner studio; however, we've found introducing Ashtanga early in the recovery process to be very beneficial. The scholarship program then becomes a natural progression for these individuals to continue using the practice as a tool to maintain long-term sobriety. *

Fulfillment of scholarship and partner studio requests are based on available resources; therefore, are not guaranteed. All scholarship applications are screened and processed by the Trini Foundation before funds are transferred to the studio.
