If you wish to participate in the masquerade, online deadline for applications is 14 days before the first day (Friday) of the event.

Submissions submitted after the online deadline may not be reviewed if the contestant slots are full. There are 40 slots in the masquerade show.

Contestants must check in from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the first day (Friday) of the event at the Front Lobby Desks in inside the convention center. Attendee badge will be required to enter.

There is on-site masquerade registration from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the first day (Friday) of the event and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the second day (Saturday) of the event at the Front Lobby Desks in inside the convention center. Attendee badge will be required to enter. On-site registration will cloe if the 40 slots for the masquerade are filled.

Please provide as much information as possible in your submission so the judges will have all of the information that they would need to judge your cosplay. You will receive a copy of your submission and a reminder email to check in on Friday.

Masquerade contests must purchase a Taiyou Con badge (Weekend or Saturday badge) to participate in the masquerade. If you cannot check in on Friday, please contact Masquerade Manager ASAP (masquerade [at] taiyoucon.com) to avoid losing your spot.
