PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
44 youngsters from Portugal, Romania, Greece, Croatia, Latvia, Italy will become aware how local and European cultural heritage looks, sounds, taste like, and discover the stories worth written, recorded, photographed using backpack journalism. In national groups they will create each 1 digital map with the “local cultural gems”.

After the youth exchange, each team will organize local #Heritage InstaMeet in their hometown and launch 1 European awareness campaign “#Youth4Heritage” on social media to encourage young people to take action, understand the potential of cultural heritage.

Project‘s topic: BACKPACK JOURNALISM, CULTURAL HERITAGE, INTERCULTURAL LEARNING
 
Project‘s objectives:  
1. 44 young people participate in a 9 days Youth Exchange in Azores to become aware how local and European cultural heritage looks, sounds, taste like, and discover the stories worth written, recorded, photographed using backpack journalism.
2. 6 youth groups create each 1 digital map with the “local cultural gems” and organize each 2 local #Heritage InstaMeet in their hometowns for 180 young people to promote the local cultural heritage and Erasmus+ Programme with 6 exhibitions
3. 6 Youth NGOs and 44 youngsters launch 1 European awareness campaign “#Youth4Heritage” on social media to encourage young people to take action, understand the potential of cultural heritage to promote “hidden, less known or forgotten cultural gems” from all over Europe.

- able to prepare, monitor and take care of the group throughout the whole project
- able to communicate in English
- with previous experience as a group leader

1. I commit myself to actively participate during the whole duration of the project dates, including:
• to take part in the full duration of the course
• to participate in the whole evaluation process
• to send feedback text and photographs/ audiovisual material to DreamTeam
2. I am aware that obtaining a health and a full travel insurance are my own responsibility and at my own expenses. I understand that the information I provided on my special needs does not remove my own personal responsibility for ensuring my own health.
3.    I will follow the new Covid19 Regulations in order to enter the country as they are defined by the Governments of the two countries and the EU Regulations for safe travelling.
