Please use this form to nominate a girl or young womxn, aged 16-24, to the Code Switch Youth Justice Leadership & Community Advocacy Fellowship program. Applications close Sunday, January 1st at 11:59 PM PST. Nominations are required for girls under age 18. All nominees must meet the following criteria:
self-identify as a Black girl/young womxn
have parent/guardian/caregiver consent (if under 18)
currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school and/or as an undergraduate in college,
can attend 3-day retreat in LV and commit to weekly meetings beginning in February
have a deep desire to learn more about Black racial history/Black Womxn Herstories, youth-led organizing, restorative advocacy, education policies shaping the school-to-prison pipeline, and the skills necessary to develop and lead community-based action projects.
