The Parish Social Group is organising a support network for those in need in the community. The current economic situation, as a result of Covid, has left some families experiencing financial strain. We would like to alleviate this stress in a small but hopefully comforting way. The idea is to have volunteers on a roster to prepare a meal for a family in need whilst maintaining their dignity and privacy.

We request the following when preparing the meal:
- The meal is frozen
-  It is in a disposable container/s
-  the date it was made is indicated on the container/s
-  a brief description of the meal and key ingredients are written on the container
-  the number of people it will serve is indicated
- indicate if it is vegetarian or gluten free

Those on the roster will then be contacted, via email and text message, to drop off a frozen meal in a disposable container/s to an esky on the Parish office verandah by 5pm for the day requested. There will be hand sanitiser next to the esky to wipe your container and your hands.

The Roster will begin on Monday 24th August, so it would be great if there were some meals ready to call on for that day. We are not sure of the need of what the take up will be, but thank you for being willing to participate.
